Camille Slipetz-Bonnell
My name is Camille! After working with Québec wildlife (wolves, black bears, lynx, eagles!) and then as a first responder in human medical emergencies, I continued my journey in the veterinary field, where I now work in a coordination role that allows me to combine my two passions: medicine and the animal world.
Also interested in ethology and philosophy, I spend a lot of time (read: too much) thinking about how the modern world works, especially about how cats have managed to slip into humans’ daily lives just to secure a meal and a warm bed!
I am Fear Free certified and have taken part in numerous conferences and training sessions with the San Diego Zoo and the Detroit Zoo on animal welfare in captive environments.
I am happy today to help with surgery coordination and to answer your questions!
