Valérie Fortin
I graduated from the Animal Health Technology program at Cégep de La Pocatière in 2006. In 2011, I passed the national exam (ENTSA), which granted me the title of Certified Animal Health Technician. I have been working in the specialized surgery and anesthesiology departments since 2012.
In 2023, after several years of hard work, I obtained my VTS (Veterinary Technician Specialist) in Anesthesia and Analgesia. This achievement makes me one of the few specialized certified AHTs in Québec and allows me to be a member of the AVTAA (Academy of Veterinary Technicians in Anesthesia and Analgesia).
